About Novel HKSAR Names
Name Category: Rare

  1. Perhaps she's a Papist or a fan of Mozart.

    Dies irae, dies illa
    Solvet saeclum in favilla
    Teste David cum Sibylla.

    One that can't spell, mind.

  2. Perhaps Uly. I would love to understand some of the thought processes in how people decide to choose their novel names. However, this appears to be a futile exercise ... which means we can only infer and speculate (as you and others have usefully done on occasion). Thank you.

Mr Divine Fung is the first person ever to see and comment on his appearance on this blog. Unfortunately, we still do not know why he chose a rather infamous, and possibly African-American-centric, name. And a feminine one at that. Think back to Divine Brown and Hugh Grant.
