Kiril isn't a creation, but it isn't English. It is a Latin transliteration of the Cyrillic form of Cyril! :) Quite common in Slavic countries.

However, given the low probability that local Hong Kong Chinese have an understanding of the Cyrillic alphabet, I have designated “Kiril” as a creation. Also, Cyril is an old-fashioned English name (not very popular these days) and I wonder if it is similarly old-fashioned in Slavic countries? Or, as you say, is it still quite common in those countries?
